Structure and foundation - Cracks in walls and slabs: tell them apart from surface fissures - Damp on walls, especially along the baseboards - Uneven floors and finishes - Condition of the roof and gutters

Electrical system - Service entrance and breaker panel capacity - Electrical grounding - Outlet points (maximum load per room) - Exposed or concealed wiring

Plumbing system - Water pressure at every point - Drains and sewage working properly - Condition of valves and faucets - Water tank (sanitation, volume, position)

Common areas (for apartments) - Condition of the garage and parking space markings - Entrance hall and corridors - Condition of the façade - Security system and concierge
